Microsoft added screen recording feature to Snipping Tool in Windows 11

Microsoft has added a screen recording feature to the Snipping Tool on Windows 11. This feature was previously only available in Windows Insiders builds. Users can choose to record their entire screen or a selected window or record from a chosen region of the screen.

The Snipping Tool allows users to easily capture, save, and share their creations. Screen captures are automatically saved to a default folder. This new functionality is only available on Windows 11, not Windows 10.

This upgrade makes screen recording more accessible for users who may not be aware of the Windows Game Bar feature. However, it is only available for Windows 11 users, meaning those still using Windows 10 will need to use the Game Bar for screen recording.
